Complex Appraisals

Not that any non-residential appraisal is a trivial undertaking, some were particularly complex:

  • An estate valuation of twenty six parcels of residential land in three abutting towns; some with potential conservation easements with twenty-four parcels considered for enhancement. (GT)
  • Eleven commercial properties in five towns in two states. (FS)
  • Four residential and seven commercial properties valued for estate planning. (BW)
  • Fifty lake-front houses that were unfairly reassessed at a high rate: individual appraisals were made for tax abatements (PW)
  • Eleven industrial buildings, two office buildings, and four ground leases; In seven different towns; Valued for estate planning (GN)
  • An estate valuation of 24 residential and commercial properties (PS)
  • Several eminent domain takings where my appraisal was made for the property owner and it could be used in litigation

Unique properties, hard to find comps

  • YMCA
  • Nordic ski area
  • Gravel pit
  • Combination inn and restaurant in north country
